State Fair and music

The Minnesota State Fair arrives every year, and inevitably there is music in our lives that narrate the coming of the great Minnesota get-together. In one way or another, pop music permeates our everyday lives and contextualizes times in our lives.

The Minnesota State Fair is always a memorable time in my life thanks to the pop music I was listening to at the time. While on State Fair shuttles to the fair, many of us have our ipod on. I decided over the next few weeks on my Minnesota State Fair blog I am going to highlight a few of the years I remember at the fair and the music that comes along with it.
